Spring Fellowship and AGM: 19 - 21 April 2024

The CMA UK National Fellowship Weekend is from Friday 19th until Sunday 21st April 2023. The AGM is scheduled at 1.30 pm on Saturday 22nd.

The Spring Fellowship and AGM 2024 will be hosted by Thames Valley Branch and will take place on . The venue is:

Saint Swithin's Church, Kennington Road, Kennington, Oxford OX1 5PL


It is expected that there will be at least six vacant position on the National Executive that may be filled.  Please consider whether God is calling you or any other CMA (UK) Member to serve on the National Executive and talk it over with a Branch official and feel free if you want, to contact any existing Trustee or Exec member.

As detailed in the Constitution: -

1. Proposals for the meeting and nominations for posts must be returned to the secretary two calendar months before the meeting. Only items for 'Any Other Business' will be accepted after this, and these may not change the Constitution or Rules and cannot nominate officers. Items for 'Any Other Business' will not be accepted after less than two hours before the start time of the meeting.

2. Proposals for changes to the Constitution and Rules must be Proposed by a Member and Seconded by a Member of the Charity, must be made in writing and must be in the hands of the National Secretary at least 2 calendar months before the Annual General Meeting.  In the case of such Proposals, "in writing" may either be by letter or email. A letter must be signed by both the Proposer and Seconder; or the same proposal must be received by email from both the Proposer's and Seconder's email addresses; or a facsimile of a letter with signatures of both Proposer and Seconder must be received from one of either the Proposer's or Seconder's email addresses.

3. Nominations for election to the National Executive, proposed by a Member and Seconded by a Member of the Charity, must be made in writing and must be in the hands of the National Secretary at least 2 calendar months before the Annual General Meeting. The Nomination shall also be signed by the Nominee to confirm acceptance of Nomination. Election of Nominees to the National Executive shall be by majority ballot of Members present at the Annual General Meeting. In the case of such Proposals, "in writing" may either be by letter or email. A letter must be signed by the Proposer, Seconder and Nominee; or the same proposal must be received by email from the Proposer's, Seconder's, and Nominee's email addresses; or a facsimile of a letter with signatures of the Proposer, Seconder and Nominee must be received from one of either the Proposer's or Seconder's email addresses. If you're not sure about something and whether you should make it a proposal, the National Secretary is very willing to discuss it with you. Sometimes, members have good ideas for improvement about matters that don't need to go for vote at the AGM but can be brought about in other appropriate ways.

This maybe a good opportunity for you to check that your membership has been renewed at the appropriate time. If your membership has lapsed at the date of the AGM you will not be allowed to vote.

The nearest hotel is Travelodge Oxford, Abingdon road. This is about 5 mins from the church. There are also a few B&Bs in Kensington.
