April extra RoundUp 2023

Published: 20/04/2023 - gloucester

I know its out of order with the others but hey!!

Welcome to our new and revised Newsletter.  This is going to be very much a freeform newsletter as we haven’t settled on a format as yet hence the title RoundUp.

A change of leadership

2022 saw Alan and Liz Robertson standdown as Chair and Vice Chair of Gloucester Branch. Their last meeting with us was at the Branch AGM 2022.  We had a sending off a few months later at Nature in Art where Liz has been the ‘Artist in Residence’ on more than one occasion.  They moved to Bristol Branch where they are taking a well earned rest from leadership and are thriving in their ministry.

Alan and Liz lead Gloucester Branch for three decades. In that time they have contributed much to the Biking Community including leading exciting and interesting rideouts, rallies at Slimbridge and the best garden fireworks party in Gloucester.  We wish them well as they continue their ministry with Bristol Branch.

Stewart Dyer is now Chair of Gloucester Branch.  The rest of team - his wife Alexandra as Secretary, Brian Jenner as Treasurer, and Colin Wright as Prayer Coordinator.
